This 3-day, disease-focused, multi-disciplinary course involves lectures, tumor board sessions, hands-on simulation, live pre- and post-skills assessments, and small group case discussions on the current models of lung cancer diagnosis and management.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending, you will receive preliminary materials that form the cognitive base of the course lectures. You are expected to become familiar with the content prior to the course start in order to reduce the need for lectures. Current or planned involvement with lung cancer diagnosis, procedures, and therapy is highly recommended.

Target Audience

Pulmonologists, interventional pulmonologists, critical care physicians/intensivists, pulmonary and critical care fellows, hospitalists, advance practice providers, radiologists, oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care providers are encouraged to attend.

ABIM MOC Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 23.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

Upon successful completion of this course, CHEST will submit your completion data to ABIM via ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for MOC points. Please allow 5-7 business days after claiming for credits to be posted to your ABIM record.

You tuition fee includes attendance at all course sessions and electronic access to course materials. Lunch and refreshments during breaks will be provided. Breakfast is available at CHEST-affiliated hotels. Printed materials or flash drives will not be provided.

After you register for the course, you will receive an e-mail with details about completing the course pretest and accessing course materials (made available 10 to 14 days prior to the course start). Data collected on your performance at hands-on skill stations will be available through our site.

Laptops or tablet computers are required for the course. The general session room will be equipped with wireless Internet access and power for personal electronics.

Cancellation Policy
Tuition refund requests for this course must be received in writing by June 1 for a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. Refunds will not be given after June 1.
