Join prominent national and international exercise experts as they guide you through didactic, simulation, small group, and hands-on sessions about cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET). Faculty will discuss high-level interpretive strategies you can use to better support your exercise laboratory, as well as exercise training program design, exercise testing evidence-based data, exercise prescriptions, rehabilitation, sports medicine, CPET guidelines, and current controversies in CPET.

Prerequisites

Prior to attending, you will receive materials that form the cognitive base of the course. You are expected to become familiar with the content prior to the course start in order to reduce the need for lectures, so the focus can be on hands-on, interactive training.

ABIM MOC Statement
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 21 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

Upon successful completion of this course, CHEST will submit your completion data to ABIM via ACCME’s Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS) for MOC points. Please allow 5-7 business days after claiming for credits to be posted to your ABIM record.

You tuition fee includes attendance at all course sessions and electronic access to course materials. Lunch and refreshments during breaks will be provided. Breakfast is available at CHEST-affiliated hotels. Printed materials or flash drives will not be provided.

After you register for the course, you will receive an e-mail with details about completing the course pretest and accessing course materials (made available 10 to 14 days prior to the course start). Data collected on your performance at hands-on skill stations will be available through our site.

Laptops or tablet computers are required for the course. The general session room will be equipped with wireless Internet access and power for personal electronics.

Cancellation Policy
Tuition refund requests for this course must be received in writing by June 29 for a full refund, less a $100 processing fee. Refunds will not be given after June 29.
